Sam Mazzarella '12, piano A music major from Rochester, New York, Sam has played the piano since he was 13, and has taken voice lessons for just one semester. He is also a member of the concert and chamber choirs, as well as the a cappella group Good Question, and he can occasionally be heard as an accompanist. He has been lucky to study piano with Elizabeth Wright since his freshman year, and has had an incredibly productive semester studying voice with Kerry Ryer-Parke. Sarah Lenfest '12, piano From South Woodstock, Vermont, Sarah has been studying piano for 17 years and organ for 7. At Williams, she is a double-major in Music Performance and Political Science. She is the organist for St. James Episcopal Church in Arlington, VT and has accompanied voice students, instrumentalists, and musicals since high school. In Paris, where she spent her junior year abroad, Sarah attended the Schola Cantorum for music and Sciences Po for international relations. She is a piano student of Elizabeth Wright and studies organ with Edwin Lawrence. In the future, she hopes to continue her music career while pursuing a master's degree and career in human rights and peace-building.
