RAW MATERIAL & CLOT

Raw material is brought from West Bengal, Orissa & other states.

It includes Mercer Clay,MP3 Clay, Betonies, Bauxite, Gypsum, Magnesium ,etc.

All these are mixed in proper proportion and is converted in to CLOT.

MILL HOUSE

Clot is transferred to mill house. Here it is heated at 1400-2500°C. As a result it becomes harder than before. As a result it becomes harder than before. There are eight mill houses for different There are eight mill houses for different

ROASTING

From Mill House it is transferred to Roasting section where the temperature is maintained and its gets colored depending upon the material used.

In this section Petroleum Coke is used to absorb air and to emit it outside.

GRINDING

Roasted Clot is grinded in the grinding department.

Page 15: Presentation on Manufacturing Process

CONVEYOR BELT

Grinded Clot is taken to the storage vessel through Conveyor Belt.

Before entering the storage vessel the grinded material passes through various processes until it is converted into Finely Powdered Material.

STORAGE VESSEL

The finely powdered material enters into the Storage Vessels for making different types of bricks.

TUNNEL - 1

When the powdered material enters storage vessels, modifications are made by an computerized machine.

Modifications are made to make different qualities of bricks.

Page 19: Presentation on Manufacturing Process

CONVEYOR BELT AND CRANE

After the alterations are done, the resultant material is carried forward by the Conveyor belt and Crane and is carried forward to shaping machinery.

SHAPING MACHINE

Through the crane, the material enters Shaping machine where the material gets shape of a Brick.

Various machines are there for giving different shapes to bricks.

TROLLEY

After giving specific shapes to bricks, it is transferred to Tunnel 2 for further processing.

Trolley is to be carried manually to the tunnel.

Page 22: Presentation on Manufacturing Process

TUNNEL - 2

To give the final touch to bricks, these are transferred from trolley to the Tunnel-2.

The best feature of the Tunnel – 2 is that, here temperature is maintained automatically according to the requirement of bricks.

To maintain the temperature, the walls of tunnel is stuffed with special cotton.

The temperature can be inferred from a hole provided on the front wall of the Tunnel.
