Bangladesh Players

Bangladesh cricket team is working so hard to upgrade themselves. Last few years our team has played many tournaments and they have done really great. For examples world cup 2007, Asia Cup 2012, New Zealand tour to Bangladesh n so on. Those victories have been possible because of the teamwork. We have some world class player but before looking to the present we have to see the past scenario. Our history has written after becoming the champion in the ICC CUP Championship in 1997 and qualified for playing in the world cup. In 1997 the team squad is given below. Aminul Islam Bulbul (Captain) Atahar Ali Akram Khan Minhajul Abedin Nannu Khaled Masud Pilot Khaled Mahmud Sujon Naimur Rahman Durjoy Mohammad Rafique Javed Omar Anamul Haque Moni Hasibul Hossain Shanto In 1999 world cup in the squad some player had been replaced. Added players were: Mehrab Hossain Opi Habibul Bashar Shahriar Hossain Bidut

Ashraful is Bangladesh's highest run-scorer in ODIs and second highest in Tests behind Habibul Bashar. Ashraful made his Test debut on 6 September 2001 against Sri Lanka. Fans

Before Bangladesh had even secured Test status, cricket fans in the country took the game seriously; when the team lost an ODI against Kenya in March 1999 several hundred fans protested outside the offices of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). On learning of Bangladesh's promotion to Test status, thousands of people celebrated on the streets. When Bangladesh began its first Test match on 10 November 2000 at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, the stadium was nearly full on the first day as around 40,000 people watched the team take on India.

31

When Bangladesh are victorious, the fans sometimes take to the streets in celebration.

When Bangladesh defeated South Africa in the 2007 World Cup, thousands of people celebrated into the night on the streets of Dhaka despite there being a ban on public gatherings at the time. During the 2011 World Cup, Bangladesh succumbed to a record defeat against West Indies, registering the team's lowest score in ODIs. The buses of both teams were stoned (Bangladesh's intentionally, West Indies' mistakenly), as was Shakib Al Hasan's house.

32

Recommendation

Bangladesh cricket team need to do hard work Should focus in their method of playing Should not loose temper during match Need to learn from their mistakes33

Need to concentrate on their repeated mistakes More team work The upcoming youngsters need to do more hard work These youngsters need to be guided properly34

Need to practice more and more Need to play more international cricket More domestic cricket should be arranged

35

Conclusion

It has been showed that Bangladesh Cricket Team is improving their selves day by day. From 1977 to right now they are trying to develop their technique to play and also to work on their lacking. What they need right now is our full support. If we stay beside them when they lose any tournament it will make them confident to do well in the next match. We hope that one day our country can win the World Cup if they improve their weakness.
