Why are you crying? Let Me lift up your face; just don't turn away. 2) Why are you looking for love? Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough? To where will you go child? Tell Me where will you run? To where will you run? Refrain: 'Cause I'll be by your side wherever you fall, in the dead of night, whenever you call, and please don't fight these hands that are holding you, and My hands are holding you. 3) Look at these hands, and My side. They swallowed the grave on that night, when I drank the world's sin so I could carry you in and give you life. I want to give you life. Bridge: 'Cause I, I love you. I want you to know that I, I love you. I'll never let you go. (Refrain) ©2008 Maxx Music Gathering – Humbly Lord We Worship You 1) Humbly Lord, we worship You, our Eternal King. Gloria

First Reading Isaiah 53:10-11 Psalm 33 – Lord Let Your Mercy Be on Us

Lord let your mercy be on us as we place our trust, place our trust in you

1) Upright is the word of the Lord and all his works are trustworthy

He loves justice and right, Of the kindness of the Lord the earth is full.

2) The eyes of the Lord are upon those who fear him On those who hope for his kindness

To deliver them from death and preserve them in spite of famine.

3) Our soul waits for the Lord, our helper and shield May your kindness, O Lord, be upon us

as we place our hope in you.

Gospel Acclamation

Gospel Mark 10:35-45 Nicene Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate (all bow) of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen. Offertory

Lamb of God

Invitation to Holy Communion Presider: Behold the Lamb of God,

behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.

Communion – My Soul is Thirsting

O God, my soul is thirsting for you, longing for you.

1) God, you are the God whom I seek, for you my flesh pines And my soul thirsts, like the earth parched lifeless without water.

2) I gaze toward you, to see your power and your glory, for your kindness is a greater good than life;

Page 6: Prelude – Jesu Joy of Our Desiring Bach Prelude – By Your

my lips will glorify you!

3) I will bless you while I live; lifting my hands up I call on your name.

As in a banquet, my soul satisfied, my mouth will praise you!

4) You are my help; under your wings I shout for joy. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me, oh God!
