DESCRIPTION
Prashna or horary is the most important branch of the astrological sciences, the other two being Jatak (predictive) and Mahurat & Shakun (electional). Jatak is based on a chart based on birth details, which in most of the cases are not correct; hence the prediction fails. In case of electional astrology, the procedure is neither easy nor simple and is based on assumptions which are difficult to understand by a normal person. In Prashna even a complicated or vexed question can be analyzed and solved with ease and without many calculations. The rules of Prashna are very simple, but their application requires a sound judgment.
