Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
PMAY- Housing for All by 2022 launched by MoHUPA,
GoI.
Mission will be implemented as Centrally Sponsored
Scheme (CSS) except for the component of credit linked
subsidy which will be implemented as a Central Sector
Scheme.
Beneficiary defined as a family comprising husband, wife
and unmarried children. Further, Beneficiary should not
have any pucca house anywhere in India to be eligible to
receive support under the mission.
PMAY- Housing for All by 2022, a
comprehensive urban housing scheme
to achieve the objective that “By the
time the Nation completes 75
years of its Independence, every
family will have a Pucca house”.
