CONDITIONAL TYPE IIOften called the "unreal" conditional because
it is used for unreal impossible or improbable situations. This
conditional provides an imaginary result for a given situation. It
isvery unlikelythat the condition will be fulfilled.
In conditional type 2, we usually use in the if clause "were"
instead of "was" even if the pronoun isI,he,she, orit.
THE PATTERN OF CONDITIONAL TYPE 2
Subject + Would + V1 + IF + Subject + V2
Or
Subject + Would be + IF + Subject + Were
Subject + Would + V1 + IF + Subject + Were
Or
Subject + Would be + IF + Subject + V2
EXAMPLE :
FactIfI would send her an invitationIf I found her addressI

or any time, and the situation isunreal. They arenotbased onfact,
and they refer to anunlikely or hypothetical conditionand
