Sit close to the musicians and hear their absolute excellent artistic quality, and watch as they communicate with each other by eye contact ... without the direction of a conductor. Every musician is of the highest caliber and plays a unique and singular part, and every audience member knows how much energy and attention is being devoted by each musician. Midsummer’s concerts are high-impact, with great energy, emotion, virtuosity and intensity. The unique settings — including galleries, churches, museums and private homes — mean that you can clearly hear the spoken comments, be near the musicians, and mingle with a glass of wine during receptions. Surrounded by water, woods, art and

more, you’ll experience incredible music and the wonders of nature in the heart of Door County’s most beautiful spots.

The mixture of instruments goes beyond the typical strings to include horns, other winds and piano. Our comprehensive programming unites innovative themes, colorful compositions and interesting arrangements that can be varied for the specific venue.

We’re friendly and fun! Inclusive, not exclusive! We’ve shattered the mold of chamber music’s traditionally stuffy, dull, elitist reputation. You’ll be warmly greeted with smiles and enjoy camaraderie among other concertgoers and the musicians.
