This ministry provides weekend food for children in need at Abner Creek Academy. All extra items were taken to Middle Tyger Community Center over the summer. The Backpack Ministry will resume collecting items this month. Items can be placed in the resource room at the church. Specific items include individual “ready to eat” single servings of mac n cheese, spaghettios, cheese or peanut butter crackers, fruit cups, breakfast bars and poptarts. Volunteers for this ministry are also needed to help sort and deliver items weekly. Please contact Heather Smith at 449-5440 or the church office if you can help. Dear Church Family, I want to thank you all for your love and support while Herman was in the hospital and when he passed away.
