Powder Coatings Easy to use, minimal VOC and cost effective, powder coating has emerged in recent decades as a most desirable method for protecting various substrates. Its high transfer efficiency and largely recoverable overspray make powder coating especially suitable for three-dimensional shapes, such as aluminum window frames, household appliances and transportation components. By producing our powder resins in Europe, Synthomer satisfies the needs of its global and regional customer base. Our broad range of powder resin options can be tailor-formulated to meet manufacturers’ performance and regulatory criteria. Our products are available either for tribo/gas oven and organo tin free upon specific request.

Synthomer line of Albester™ resins features both carboxyl and hydroxyl-terminated polyester resins. Carboxyl-terminated polyester resins offer polymers for Indoor (hybrid systems) and Outdoor applications (standard and superdurable). Hydroxyl-terminated polyester resins are designed for use in non-emitting polyester- urethane systems for special-effect architectural, anti-graffiti and transportation applications.

Albecor™ resins are our newest polyester powder-coating products, specifically designed for low thermal curing.

The lower temperature cure facilitated by Albecor powder coating resins increases energy efficiency and allow the application on heat sensitive subtrates.

Synthomer produces Albester SilkyMatt™ resins, a full range spec i-fically designed for low gloss applications. The fruit of over 25 years of experience in low gloss research and development, Albester SilkyMatt resins are the ultimate for quality and consistency in low gloss powder coatings.
