THIS DOCUMENT IS UNCONTROLLED WHEN PRINTED Location/s Support Services Reporting to Head of People and Culture Direct Reports Nil Level Band F Date Updated August 2019 About the Role This diverse role will collaborate with the management and the hiring community to build a sustainable workforce through the attraction, recruitment and on-boarding of talent, enabling Relationship Australia (Qld) (RAQ) to fulfill its strategic objectives. Responsibility will include implementing a range of recruitment marketing and social media campaigns to strengthen the RAQ employment brand and to drive applications as well as to identify, engage and attract specialist talent in the market by employing a range of proactive sourcing methods. Key Responsibilities Strategy Finalise and provide regular updates to the Talent Acquisition Strategy, ensuring it: o Solves key business problems relating to attraction and retention; o Strengthens the position of RAQ in the employment market; o Leverages of the benefits RAQ offers to employees; o Allows for the efficient flow of candidates from application through to on- boarding. o Provides management with efficiencies pertaining to recruitment and selection processes, including through the enablement of technology. Implement a range of sourcing and attraction initiatives including the proactive identification and approach of potential candidates using Seek, Linked In, Indeed or industry forums and continuously build networks into the target talent markets. Devise initiatives that support the active recruitment within our Virtual Services business, regional and remote locations, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait people as a deliverable contained in our Reconciliation Action Plan. Employer Brand Verify the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and once endorsed, in consultation with the Manager – Communications develop new brand assets such as photos, video, testimonials and content to bring to life the proof points and brand messages. Roll this out by updating or creating a presence on a range of targeted channels such as the RAQ’s Careers website, job ad templates, LinkedIn Company or life pages and paid or organic social campaigns. Continue to sense check and enhance the RAQ EVP messaging by constantly seeking feedback from candidates, new hires and employees to ensure the messaging continues to be relevant and refining the messaging as required. Encourage and enable employees to be brand ambassadors by providing training and support such as social media guidelines and tool kits and involving those interested in content creating and sharing.

About the Role This diverse role will collaborate with the management and the hiring community to build a sustainable workforce through the attraction, recruitment and on-boarding of talent, enabling Relationship Australia (Qld) (RAQ) to fulfill its strategic objectives. In consultation with the Manager – Communications, write and place quality, targeted adverts, ensuring all advertising and promotion meets RAQ’s corporate brand guidelines.

Management Guidance and Support

Actively participate in workforce planning and succession planning.

Build and manage relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, continue to map the market and develop market intelligence to inform recruitment decisions.

Provide advice to management regarding screening and selection.

Develop resources and provide education to upskill managers in the area of recruitment and selection.

During times of bulk recruitment, assist with the scheduling of interviews and conducting candidate reference checks.

Participate in interviews when required, particularly for the purpose of building manager capability.

Review and maintain a suite of recruitment resources, particularly interview guides that align with the competency framework.

Strategic Partnerships Manage external recruitment related stakeholder relationships including agencies, industry bodies, universities, print and digital media suppliers and vendors.

Continue to explore new channels and partners who can add value in a commercially mindful manner whether this be new sourcing channels, methods for improving process efficiencies or creating content. This includes niche agencies, specialist job boards and additional social media platforms.

Systems, Process, Reporting & Insights

Build technological solutions to enable efficient engagement with candidates (including potential) and management, and the availability of data for HR metrics.

Review existing recruitment and selection processes to ensure ease of engagement and efficiency.

Build new data management process and provide associated reporting to enable the identification of areas for improvement.

Report on emerging trends in the employment market and target talent segments.

Leadership As a member of the People and Culture Group, share collective responsibility for delivering organisational objectives, through active engagement and collaboration with employees at all levels in the organisation.

About You To be successful in this position you will have:

Required Highly Desired

Qualifications An undergraduate degree in Human Resources, marketing or an associated business discipline.

Experience

Professional experience in a similar recruitment position and ideally from both agency and in-house environments.

Significant experience in multiple complex industries.

Significant experience in delivering HR services (to provide back-up relief to People Advisors).

Knowledge Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and selection processes, particularly best practice.

Demonstrated knowledge and application of attraction strategies.

An understanding of the key players within the recruitment industry.

A sound knowledge of the Not-for-Profit sector.

Demonstrated knowledge of project management frameworks and principles.

Understanding of change management principles.

Skills

Exceptional communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

A passion and high level of skill for all things recruitment related and a genuine interest in marketing and social media.
