2009 15th SSC Open Invitational Midget Swimming Meet 2009 Farewell Lunch

Hosted the closing ceremony/farewell lunch for Singapore Swimming Club’s Swimming Meet. Audience consisted of the competitors (aged 5 – 8 years old), parents and coaches from various local and foreign swimming clubs.

2009 Standard Chartered Trivia Night

Hosted Standard Chartered’s 1st ever Trivia Night @ The Cavern. The event was a fundraiser for their adopted charity. I also prepared all the questions and the scoring for the Trivia contest.

2009 Fairprice “Green Lifestyle Campaign” Launch

Hosted for the launch ceremony for Fairprice’s “Green Lifestyle Campaign” @ AMK hub. Campaign aimed at bringing awareness to environment problems and taking action to care about the environment. Members of the press were present, and the Guest-of-Honour was Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim.

2009 NDP Sponsorship Event “An Evening @ The Flyer”

Hosted for National Day Parade Committee’s internal party for their sponsors and partners, which included a fashion show to showcase the NDP Funpack 2009. Held at the Singapore Flyer’s Megu Event Hall.

2008 Sengkang Primary School Teacher’s Day D&D

Managed and hosted for the party @ SAFRA Mt Faber (100 pax). Dressed to the theme Saturday Night Fever. Planned and executed all the games, and also procured the music and crew.

2010 Noise Singapore 2010 Launch Party

Hosted Noise Launch Party @ Raffles City, facilitated performances as well as an award presentation session.

2010 Starhub Urban Freestyle Hosted for Starhub Urban Freestyle (SUF) roadshow outside Cathay CIneleisure (2 different dates), promoting the SUF Run and facilitating showcase of Parkour (free running).

2010 Noise Singapore 2010 Hosted for Noise Singapore Roadshow/ talent showcase outside Cathay Cineleisure. Campaign organized by National Arts Council, promoting creativity in Arts & Design, Music and Photography

2010 Back To School With Nickelodeon

Hosted for Nickelodeon roadshows at various primary schools. Facilitated various games for students.

2009 Back To School With U Hosted and planned games at Back To School With U Fair, organized by NTUC. Main objective was to promote the stalls selling the merchandise, and play games with the young kids at the fair.

2009 Anti-Drug Art and Pledge Exhibition

Hosted for the Anti-Drug Art Competition Award Ceremony and Art & Pledge Exhibition @ United Square. Targeted at young families and youths. Planned and facilitated games and activities.

2009 Levi’s “Get What You Love, Give What You Don’t” event

Hosted for Levi’s roadshow/campaign at Takashimaya Square, encouraging public to trade in their old jeans for a discount and to help the environment. Conducted various games and facilitated performances.

2009 NDP Roadshow Hosted for NDP roadshow at Tampines, Republic Poly and Marina Square. Roadshow was a lead-up to National Day Parade, with various exhibits, local performances and interactive games with the audience

Hosted for the Super Street Fighter 4 tournament roadshow outside Cineleisure Orchard over 2 Saturdays. Facilitated stage games and co-commentated during tournament.

2010 Amazing Maritime Race 2010

Hosted the Amazing Maritime Race, part of the launch of the Singapore Maritime Week 2010. Also facilitated games, as well as the launch ceremony of the Singapore Maritime Week. Guest of Honour: My Raymond Lim, Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs.

2010 Largest Cha Cha Dance Hosted the setting of the Singapore Book of Records for the Largest Cha Cha Dance, held at Downtown East.

2010 Singapore’s Best Dance Crew 2010

Hosted the annual Hip Hop Dance competition: Singapore’s Best Dance Crew (SBDC) 2010. Facilitated preliminary rounds and grand finals preview. Held outside Jurong Point. Winners of event got to represent Singapore at the World Championships in Las Vegas, USA.

2010 Big Bang In My Bedroom Hosted “Big Bang In My Bedroom” @ Zouk, an event part of Simmons Good In Bed Campaign, organized by NTU students. Promoted the advocacy of good sleeping habits, by preventing junk sleep. Main Event: Jousting contest on the dance floor.

2010 SG United Jamboree Hosted a carnival-like event @ Home Team Academy for students involved in Community Engagement Program. Facilitated the briefing, announcements, award presentation, and taught the mass dance. Organised by Ministry of Home Affairs. Guest-Of-Honour: Senior Minister of State for Law and Home Affairs, Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee.

2009 New Year’s Eve Party @ Downtown East

Hosted a New Year’s Eve Party at Downtown East, facilitating various performances and a magic show.

2009 Escape to “Hell”oween Hosted for Escape Theme Park’s Halloween event for 2 evenings. Dressed up as Dracula. Conducted games, made announcements as well as took part in a parade.

2009 Brand’s Essence Asia Pacific Sudoku Challenge 2009

Hosted for the inaugural Students’ Challenge segment of the Brand’s Essence Asia Pacific Sudoku Challenge 2009.

2009 FAM JAM! Walk and Rock Hosted FAM JAM! Walk and Rock, which was the closing event for the National Family Celebrations 2009. Facilitated a contest, stage games, lucky draw, performances, and fireworks at the end. Guest-of-Honour: Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, Minister of State for Community Development, Youth and Sports.

2009 Bikini Bottom Bash Hosted for Spongebob Squarepants 10th Anniversary celebration party @ Singapore Flyer. Event by Nickelodeon and Starhub. Played many games with kids and their parents, & facilitated celebration.

2008 Don’t Forget The Lyrics (Season 1)

Was the Wubbie (pre-show warm-up host) for the entire recording (11 days) of Mediacorp TV game show “Don’t Forget The Lyrics”.

2008 President’s Star Charity 2008 Was a Wubbie (pre-show warm-up host) for the President’s Star Charity 2008. Held @ Mediacorp TV Theatre before a live audience. President S R Nathan attended, together with various ministers.

2009 My Mum is Better Than Your Mum

Hosted for Downtown East’s Mother’s Day competition. In the form of an amazing race - various stations with different tasks. The teams were mother-child partnerships. I was also a ‘roving host’, cheering the competitors on.

2009 Miss SIM VNC 2009 Hosted a beauty pageant for SIM Vietnamese Community. 200 pax.

2008/09 Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2009

Was the pre-show host and wubbie (audience warm-up) for mediacorp’s channel 5 new year countdown @ Marina Bay. Estimated attendance: 10,000 pax.

2008 Late night shopping @ Junction 8

Hosted for a fairy tale carnival at Junction 8 open plaza, with games activities and a free movie screening.

2008 Voice Personality Hunt (VPH) 2008

Co-hosted the annual SMU Broadcast & Entertainment VPH. Held outside The Cathay. Facilitated a contest, stage games and lucky draw.

2008 Rev it Up with Celebrities: Hosted for a weekend-long gaming competition by Electronic Arts (EA). Held @ Marina Square on

An EA Gaming Challenge F1 Singapore GP weekend. Conducted stage games with Kids Central celebrities as well.

2008 Kids Central Brain Challenge Hosted stage games and a brainteaser competition. Held @ White Sands Shopping Centre over a weekend. Conducted alongside Kids Central celebrities.

2008 Dempsey Hill Carnival Hosted the carnival, organized by Dempsey Hill and Kids Central. Facilitated stage games, performances and a Young Superstar Search (talent quest)

2008 Flight of the Night Owl Acted as General of army, kicked off the race, and hosted the closing ceremony. Held @ National Museum of Singapore. (Night event, from 7pm to 1am)

Hosted Singapore’s Largest Inter-Tertiary Latin Dance Festival, organized by SMU. Also planned and executed games. Held at Zouk.

2009 Live n Loaded Pre-Launch Event

Hosted alongside Soowei from 987fm @ *scape to promote upcoming Mediacorp Channel 5’s upcoming program “Live n’ Loaded”. Event featured local bands performing.
