ULTRAPOL End & Edge PolisherAdvanced Cross-Sectioning with Angular Control

ULTRAPOL End and Edge polishingTool is designed for a wide range of applicationsincluding cross-sections, wedge TEM samples,parallel polish of SEM samples, fiber opticconnectors and many otherroutine processes. The system has an oscillating angled arm withoptional digital angle readout and set. The Zmovement is controlled in one micron incrementswith a process timer andwheel tachometer standard. The work arm has 'Quick Release'removable chucks for various types and sizes ofsamples including vise, linear clamps, SEMstubs, TEM Pyrex rods, and fiber opticconnectors.

The lapping surface is variable speed, 8" dia. with quick release lappingplates and solenoid variable flow water control. Constructed in a heavyduty steel cabinet, the unit is suitable for production as well as researchand QA purposes.
