RAILENIUM - An international testing and research insti-tute dedicated to rail infrastructure and systems:➜ combines expertise, human resources, funds and heavy

testing equipment,➜ to produce a critical mass for research, innovation and

technical improvements,➜ for rail infrastructure (components, processes, interfaces

and systems) in a European perspective,➜ applying the collaborative approach of a public-private

partnership➜ RAILENIUM comprises two parts: research is conducted

as a cooperative venture under the aegis of a foundation, while the test centre operates as a joint stock company.
