THE CATENA MALBEC...presents a deep violet color. This microclimate blend of four unique vineyards offers intense aromas, a soft texture, and concentrated flavor. Deep aromas of ripe red and dark fruits are joined by delicate violet and lavender notes, with traces of vanilla and mocha. A rich, concentrated mouthfeel is highlighted by flavors of blueberries and blackberries with a touch of sweet spice, and leather. The wine finishes with bright acidity, well-integrated and silky tannins, and a flinty minerality that lingers on the palate.
The Catena Malbec would be a wonderful complement to robust red meat dishes.

Catena Zapata White Bones Chardonnay 2012
W I N E D E S C R I P T I O NWhite Bones Chardonnay comes from select rows within Block 1 of the Adrianna Vineyard. The
wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels with about two-thirds undergoing malolactic
fermentation. The name refers to the soil underneath these rows, which is layered with calcareous
deposits and limestone as well as fossilized bones – the remnants of a river that used to pass
through the region. T A S T I N G N O T E SThe Catena Zapata White Bones Chardonnay has a bright lemon yellow color in the glass. The
nose shows an excellent mélange of citrus and white fruit notes with vanilla. The mouthfeel is rich
and concentrated, showing ripe pear, apple and apricot flavors with salty notes. The finish shows
bright, clean acidity and wonderful length. F O O D P A I R I N GThe is a rich, full-bodied Chardonnay that nonetheless possesses a crisp acidity making it the
perfect foil for meatier fish like tuna and swordfish as well as seafood dishes prepared with butter
and cream. Try this wine with a dish like Roasted Monkfish with Cardinal Sauce for an
unforgettable meal.

Catena Alta Malbec 2013
W I N E D E S C R I P T I O N
In the mid-nineties, in an effort to produce a super-premium wine, the winemaking team of Catena
began an in-depth investigation into the yields from specially selected, high altitude vineyards,
identifying the individual rows that produce the best fruit. Catena Alta is an assemblage of these
historic rows within the Catena family’s estate vineyards. The blend of these rows, like the blend of
musical notes that compose a symphony, creates a wine that is layered and complex,
concentrated yet nuanced.
Nicola Catena planted his first Malbec vineyard in Mendoza in 1902. His grandson, Nicolás
Catena, is known as the man who revolutionized Argentine wine and introduced high altitude
Malbec to the world. The historic Catena Zapata vineyards are planted with the Catena family’s
proprietary selection of Malbec vines: the Catena Cuttings. Catena Alta Malbec is sourced from
Block 18 of the Angélica Vineyard in Lunlunta, Block 4 of the La Pirámide Vineyard in Agrelo, Block
1 of the Nicasia Vineyard in the Altamira district of San Carlos and Blocks 3 & 9 of the Adrianna
Vineyard in Gualtallary.
T A S T I N G N O T E S
Catena Alta Malbec is deep violet in color with indigo highlights. The nose has aromas of ripe red
and black berry fruits with notes of violets and lavender and hints of leather and a touch of spices.
The wine is full-bodied and rich, with sweet tannins and a smooth structure, offering multiple layers
of of blackberries and black currant with hints of licorice, vanilla, and black pepper. This wine's
lengthy finish shows beautiful minerality with fine tannins and lively acidity.
F O O D P A I R I N G
This Malbec would be absolutely wonderful with a variety of grilled meats but especially with more
full-flavored dishes like Barbecued Leg of Lamb or Roasted Baby Goat.

From the most studied vineyard in the world, each cuvée in the Adrianna collection is hand harvested from specific lots to reflect the distinct and incomparable terroirs that make up this special vineyard.
Developed as an on - premise only alternative, these single-appellation wines offer excellent value from the Catena portfolio, with the increased specificity of Vista Flores, from the Tunuyán district of the Uco Valley.
Small production, mono-varietal, single-appellation wines produced with increased specificity intended to showcase the provenance of the top emerging sub-zones of Mendoza.
