1. Incoming product for assembly, enables the qualifier and resets the fastener count from Switch 1.

Yellow lights equal to the number of fasteners to be assembled are illuminated.

2. An operator installs the fasteners with a pneumatic assembly tool. The PSI Qualifier determines

complete versus incomplete assembly cycles. A green light illuminates for each complete assembly

cycle. The display shows NOK and an alarm sounds for incomplete assembly cycles from double hits,

cross threads, strip outs or short cycles.

3. The PSI Qualifier increments the completed cycle display for each fastener installed with a

complete (OK) cycle. When all of the required fasteners are assembled with completed cycles, the

green batch OK light illuminates. If any fasteners have incomplete assembly cycles, the red batch

NOK light illuminates. Standard I/O signals from the PSI Qualifier can be used to prevent products

moving out of station (Switch 2) before all fasteners have complete assembly cycles.
