In het jaar 1969, meer dan 50 jaar geleden, introduceerde het bedrijf Munck‑hof trots haar 1e zelfrijdende appel oogstmachine die ze de naam “Pluk‑O‑Trak” (Plukken Op Traktie) gaven!

De ontwikkeling van de Pluk‑O‑Trak was geen gemakkelijke taak.Elke kleine stap in de ontwikkeling moest worden bedacht, ontworpen en ge‑test of worden vervangen door een betere oplossing.

Het was een periode vol tegenslagen en uitzichtloze situaties, maar de wils‑kracht, het doorzettingsvermogen en de vastberadenheid van de mensen die hierbij betrokken waren maakten van dit project een succes.

De techniek die deze machine zo uniek maakte was de combinatie: zelfrij‑dend, gebruik van transportbanden en een kistenvulsysteem.En hij is nog steeds onverslagen!

Al onze huidige concurrenten gebruiken deze combinatie in hun oogstmachi‑nes.Ja, inderdaad, kopiëren is eenvoudiger dan uitvinden!

In 1969, more than 50 years ago, Munckhof proudly introduced its first self-propelled apple harvester which it called “Pluk‑O‑Trak” (Dutch: Plukken Op Traktie)! Development of the Pluk‑O‑Trak was not an easy task.Each small step in the development process had to be invented, designed and tested or replaced by a better solution. It was a period full of setbacks and hopeless situations but the willpower, perseverance and determination of the people involved made the project a success.

What made this machine so unique was the combination of being self-propelled, using conveyor belts, and the bin filling system and it is still unbeaten! All our current competitors have used this combination in their apple harvesters.Yes, indeed, copying is easier than inventing!
