What’s it all about? Activities Week takes place during the last week of the summer term (24th—28th June). Over the

past few years the programme has been expanded to include a wide range of adventurous and not so

adventurous activities. We have also tried to ensure that there is a balance of free activities and

have tried to keep the cost of others as low as possible to meet all budgets.

Who is it for? Activities week is for

Everyone in S1 to S4

Any pupil returning to study in S5 & S6

(Any pupil who is planning to leave school after their exams is still able to take part in Activities

Week )

How does it work? On Friday 12th April a link will appear on the school website. Clicking on this link will take you to the

options form where pupils are asked to answer one of the following:

Are you taking part in a residential?

Are you taking part in activities in/out of school

Other

If you are taking part in a residential all you have to do is click which one and that’s the options done

for you.

If you are taking part in the school activities you will be asked to choose your top 6 and then you will

be allocated to 4 of them.

If you click on other you must state why you will not be in school or taking part in activities week. If

you are not going to be in school you must write to Mr Clark asking permission to be absent from

school during the last week of term.

Selecting your options online will finish on Friday 26th April. Up to this day you can change your op-

tions at any time. After this date you will be allocated to 4 activities based on your choices and you

will be sent an invoice for the total cost of your allocated activities. Payments must be made to the

school office by Friday 31st May. Cheques must be made payable to ‘EAST LOTHIAN COUNCIL’.

If at any time you have any questions see Mr Lanyon or the member of staff in charge of each activi-

ty. If you have forgotten your edubuzz email and password which you need to log on to the options

form see either Mr Lanyon, Mr Stewart or go to the school office.
