With school reopening, the Fall also brings our favorite holidays of the year…Halloween/ Dias De Los Muertos! On Planet K that means it’s time for our annual Texas Fireworks display, a FREE celebration in memory of The Day of the Dead - Dias De Los Muertos. This year marks the fourth year we will light up the night skies honoring the dead. Of course, this makes the fourth year of OUR FIGHTING LIKE HELL FOR THE LIVING - maybe that’s most important. The fi reworks kick off our annual month of giving that benefi ts Mobile Loaves and Fishes, House the Homeless, Capital Area Food Bank, Austin Harm Reduction Coalition, Little Church of La Villita, Bexar Area Harm Reduction Coalition, and San Antonio AIDS Foundation. Donate to any or all of these charities at any Planet K or for more information on how to help out these charities check out the links on our website at www.planetktexas.com. The fi reworks have been amazing in the past and each year it only gets better. To see some of last years’ fi reworks visit www.planetktexasfi reworks.com. In East Austin on Halloween night, Sunday October 31st around 9:00 pm, we will be staging Austin FREE fi reworks behind Krieg Field on Pleasant Valley Rd. just south of the Colorado River. Then, on Tuesday November 2nd, in San Antonio at Woodlawn Lake, west of I-10 off Woodlawn Avenue, around 8:00pm we will be concluding our celebration of Dias De Los Muertos with a whole lot more FREE fi reworks.
