All visitors/parents must report to the front office to sign-in. Please have a form of identification when visiting school (driver license preferred). MORNING DROP-OFF: Academy students (along Dolores Huerta) must be dropped off on the south side gate. Parents must enter from the south side on Dolores Huerta. Entrance from the north into the campus is not allowed. Parents must follow the traffic flow from the south. Please see traffic flow map. College Prep students should be dropped off on the East side of the campus, entering on Utah St. through the south gate off Utah Street. Please refer to traffic flow map. Students MAY NOT be dropped off along the sidewalks on the sides of the campus. This poses a huge safety risk to the student. Our staff will be on duty from 7:10 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. to assist you when you are dropping off your child. Please do not park or get out of your vehicles at any time during pick up or drop off times. Students MAY NOT be dropped off along the sidewalks on the sides of the campus. This poses a huge safety risk to the student. Our staff will be on duty from 12:05 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. to assist you when you are dropping off your child. Please do not park or get out of your vehicles at any time during pick up or drop off times. Students should not arrive on campus before 12:05 pm as there is no supervision until that time.


IDEA WESLACO PIKE PARENTS: Parents will not be able to walk their children to the classroom. We will continue to implement safety measures to ensure your children are in a safe environment while maximizing instructional time. Please attend Meet the Teacher to tour the school and practice walking to class with your child. Thank you for all your understanding and cooperation. HANDHELD DEVICES IN SCHOOL ZONE: Please remember that all drivers are prohibited from using handheld devices. Talking on cell phone/texting and driving in a school zone is prohibited by law. member. Academy students will NOT be released to College Prep students during pick-up. College Prep students must report to academy pick-up area with their siblings.

PICKING UP STUDENTS BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY: Early student pickup will need prior administrative approval. Please make all appointments afterschool to ensure your child does not miss out on instructional time.

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES: To ensure your child goes home in the correct bus and to ensure your child arrives home in a timely manner, all transportation changes will need to be requested by 1:00 p.m. daily. DEJADA DE PK-4 AL MEDIO DIA

Estudiantes que llegan después de las 12:15 de la tarde, se reportara a la oficina para recibir un excuse de tardanza.

ESTACIONAMIENTO DE PADRES/VISITANTES/PERSONAL: Estacionamiento está limitado dentro de la propiedad de la escuela. Los espacios de estacionamiento marcado como “VISITOR PARKING” son para los padres de estudiantes que tienen asuntos con la escuela. Todos los visitantes/los padres deben reportar a la oficina de inicio de sesión DEJADA DE MEDIO DIA: Dejada de los alumnos en el PreK4 de la mañana comienza a las 12:05 de la tarde. Todos los estudiantes de PreK4 que asisten clases por la tarde, tienen que llegar para las 12:15 de la tarde. La entrada para dejar estudiantes de medio día es por los portones del lado del este (véase el diagrama). POR FAVOR LLEGA A TIEMPO PARA DEJAR A SU HIJO/HIJA. Etiquetas con el nombre del estudiante y grado será un requisito para todos los estudiantes de la Academia. Esta etiqueta debe de ser visible en el vehículo. PADRES: Los alumnos deben bajar de sus vehículos dentro de los límites de propiedad de la escuela. Por favor, espere a su hijo dentro de su coche, el personal estará en servicio de 12:05 de la tarde a las 12:15 de la tarde para ayudarle cuando usted va a dejar su hijo. Llegando a tiempo asegura que su hijo/hija recibirá una comida por la tarde. Una aplicación con la cafetería tiene que existir en nuestros records para proveer una comida. Por favor, asegúrese de que está mostrando tarjeta de nombre de su hijo en el parabrisas.

DESPEDIDA COMIENZA A LAS 3:45 DE LA TARDE

RECOGIDA DE ESTUDIANTES: Despido de los alumnos comienza a las 3:45 de la tarde. Todos los estudiantes de recogida de la Academy serán levantados por el sur (entrada por Dolores Huerta); y los estudiantes de College Prep levantados por el lado este (entrada por Utah Avenue) – vea el diagramo proveído POR FAVOR LLEGA A TIEMPO PARA RECOGER SU HIJO/HIJA. Etiquetas con el nombre del estudiante y grado será un requisito para todos los estudiantes de la Academia. Esta etiqueta debe de ser visible en el vehículo. Todos los estudiantes que no son recogidos para las 4:15 de la tarde, irán al cuarto de MAVS CARE. PADRES: Los alumnos deben ser recogidos dentro de los límites de propiedad de la escuela. Por favor, espere a su hijo dentro de su coche, el personal estará en servicio de las 3:45 de la tarde hasta las 4:10 de la tarde para ayudarle cuando usted va a recoger su hijo. Por favor, asegúrese de que está mostrando tarjeta de nombre de su hijo en el parabrisas. RECORDATORIOS:

• Si hay familias con estudiantes en el College Prep y Academy, tienen que levantar todos los niños juntos en el lado de la ACADEMY. Niños de la ACADEMY no puede irse con sus hermanos mayores. Esto es para la seguridad de sus hijos.
