When a student is under the age of 18, email invitations to join the program will be sent to the student’s parent or guardian. To begin the registration process click on the green box in the email you received from the student’s teacher. Using an iOS device? Get the free mobile app first before clicking the button.

Clicking this link will take you to the account creation page. If you have multiple children who are going to be enrolling, you will only follow this step one time. Additional students can be added to your parent account later.

It is very important that you complete all the steps to create BOTH accounts when you initially click the link. Navigating away from the site before the process is complete may result in the account becoming inaccessible.

1. If this is the first time you arecreating an account, click on “I agreeto the terms of service”

2. You can then choose tocreate your account usingeither Google, Facebook, or aunique Username andPassword combination of your choosing. Your username willbe your email address.

3. If you choose Username andPassword you will be taken to thescreen to the right. Here you willenter your personal details andthen click “Create”. Rememberthat the email you enter here willbecome your username. You willenter details about your child inthe next step. Passwords are casesensitive and must be at least 8characters in length.

If you choose Google or Facebook on the previous screen, the system will skip this step and take you straight to Step 4 (on the next page)

4. Your 30 day free trial beginswhen the email invitation is sent by the teacher. There is no need to enter any payment information until the trial is up. Click “Continue Trial Period” to move to the next step and create your child’s username and password.

5. This is where you will enter allthe student’s details and createtheir own unique username andpassword. Again, the password iscase sensitive. The username for the child’s account does not needto be an email address. Use something that will be easy for you and your child to remember. You can reset the password for the child’s account from insideyour own account later if necessary. Once you havecompleted all fields, click“Create”.

The image on the left below is how the menu in the upper left of the screen will appear when you are logged into a parent’s account. The image on the right is how the menu will appear when you are logged into a child’s account. Frequently we will hear from parents who say their child does not have the option to record. This is typically due to inadvertently being logged into the parent’s account without realizing it. Parents can listen from the parent account to the demo of all exercises as well as all the student’s saved recordings. Parents can also see any comments or communication between teacher and student. Parents do not have the ability to record from the parent account.

For families with multiple children enrolling

You will receive an email invitation from your children’s teacherfor each child. Once you have gone through the steps to create aparent account and an account for one child, you will skip the stepof creating a parent account and proceed to steps 4 and 5 only.

To do this you will still click on the link in the invitation email but rather than click to agree to the Terms of Service and choosing how you want to log in you will click on “I already have anaccount” and log in using the method you chose during the set up for your first child. Steps 4 and 5 will be the same. You will be able to see all of your children’s activity in the app from your one account.
