Drafts of the Film Poster

Poster Group 1Here, the group 1 pictures are of the disguised

subject firing or aiming to shoot at someone.

The top half images were captured with a slow shutter speed giving it a un-stabled look. Whilst the others were sharp and had a flash on to display the colour of the graffiti, as it refers to the urban environment.

These images could be useful as it profiles a gun and the shooter to imply violence and crime. Which are some of the aspects in an Urban Drama film.

Editing these pictures would be considered as it doesn’t feel gritty and depressing as I expected it to be.

Group 3Here are some technical images,

introducing more of the mise-en-scene that should be featured in a Urban Drama film. I have selected these 5 images as the most successful from the other I took that are not here.

Within all these images I had to make use of depth of field with the subject, creating/tuning the chrome colour-tones and use a tripod as well to hold the camera still as though they are professional photos, since they establish the main aspects of an urban essence.

However I had to acquire higher technical equipment to produce these images and they weren’t as easy to use as the other equipment used for the other pictures.

Group 4Here are some establishing shots

of areas in London.

• I made sure I got a variety of lighting and time of day as prior to conditions.

• These images are also useful as they are taken in areas that relate to the genre and adhere gang violence or urban culture.
