he Regional Convention Steering Committee (RCSC) is excited to welcome you to Phoenix and tothe 2018 Region 21 Convention and Competition. This is your weekend to celebrate amazing barbershop harmony with your Region 21 sisters, as well as your family and friends. We know thatyou have worked hard and are excited to take the stage. The RCSC has also been working hard thesepast few months to plan a weekend to be enjoyed by all!

Be sure to check out the boutique, located just behind the Registration Desk on the RenaissanceMeeting Level, hosted by our very own current Region 21 chorus champions, the Scottsdale Chorus. There is sure to be something for everyone at the boutique. In fact, you will probably want to visitmore than once! While you are there, don’t miss the Silent Auction where there will be many greatitems that you will want to bid on and take home with you.

Kick off your convention weekend with the ever-popular Club 21 Jamboree on Thursday night in the Renaissance N/S Ballroom. And on Saturday evening, check out the Harmony Showcase, againin the N/S Ballroom, to hear the top-placing quartets and choruses from what is sure to be anotherexciting competition.

You will be given the opportunity to attend two educational classes this weekend. The first will be onFriday morning “Tag Time with Kathleen! Building your vocal skills though tag singing.” The secondclass will be Sunday morning. Do you ever wonder what the numbers on your score sheet mean orhave you been perplexed by a specific comment? This is your opportunity to learn about your scoresand ask questions of our talented women who serve our organization as judges in “the pit.”

Please take some time this weekend to thank the wonderful women of the Scottsdale Chorus, our Assistance Chapter, for their efforts in hosting another successful weekend. We send them to St Louiswith our best wishes and with harmony in our hearts. We know they will make Region 21 proud!

Your Regional Convention Steering Committee (RCSC),

Denise, Lou, Victoria, Patti, Darren, & Sue
