Pet Valu Presents: Pet Love Notes
Really? What isn’t to love! From day one until today unconditional love at its best. Always there to listen, for a snuggle, to play and to be the most perfect little sister to our son! Meet Adelle. — April
It is clear as mud that we love our little Allie
:) She brings much laughter to our house and
cannot imagine life without her or Boxers in
our lives...Woof! — Jayda This is Apollo and Sorcha... both are rescues. I’ve had Sorcha (the lighter one) for less than a year but clearly they’re best of buds now : ) If I leave for 10 minutes you swear I was gone for weeks with the welcome I get each and every time....that is
one of the many reasons I love these guys. — Joanna
I have 4 rescue dogs...and I love them all. This pic was taken only a few days after Bean, my little Shitzu, was adopted from a local SPCA after being rescued from a puppy mill. He’s curled up with Izzy, my Pitbull / Boxer mix (adopted from a local SPCA after found wandering on a highway in the middle of nowhere). I love this pic because every time I look at it I feel warm inside and appreciate all over again how kind and loving dogs can be.
Please meet my Bengal cat Belle. She just turned one and will forever be a kitten in my
eyes! Not only has she warmed herself to me, but also to my parents, in ways that I could
not imagine. Each day is met with play time, food time, and of course, cuddle time. There
is not a day that she does not literally bounce off the walls, play fetch, or peek her head
out to see who comes home. She responds well to guests, hasn’t made a fuss about going
to the vet just yet, and will never outgrow her curiosity. Regardless how bad of a day one
of us have had, she will manage to make us laugh and
smile. I love coming home to her every day, my parents
are quite fond of her, and I think maybe, just maybe,
she likes us too.— Christine
No matter what I do, if I am mad, frustrated, happy, sad, exhausted, excited - he is a lways there; by my side. He is my bestfriend, my dog. – Sam
I love my bunnies. They have helped me through stressfu l
times at school, jobs a nd helped me get accustomed
to a completely different life here in Canada. It’s my joy
to look at them and they f ill my life with love. They a re awesome! – Raisa
Buster is my valley bulldog , he loves
kissing my daughter! He has become
such a big part of our family! We love
spending time with Buster, cuddling
with him, walking him, training
him together! Couldn’t imagine life
without him! — Marita This is Charlie. He was rescued from a shelter last year. Although he is a big lug, counter surfs as soon as we leave the house, we love him. He brought me to my volunteer job with New OrleansLab Rescue. Charlie has taught us that it is the simplest things in life
that matter most. Thank you Charlie! — Debra
My Golden Retreiver “Dazzler” & my daughter Emily. He is
the most loving loyal dog you’d ever meet, which is how he earned his
name, as he dazzles everyone who is lucky to meet & know him, he is
my little 4 legged son. — Lorraine
These are my dachshunds, Euri & Finnegan. ♥ Euri (the wirehair) has been with me for over 11 years and is truly the greatest dog I have ever known. Finnegan just came to live with us in November, but he is quickly taking his place in my heart too. I have systemic lupus and these two happily spend days with me in bed when I’m too sore to do anything else. They keep me smiling even when I’m down. I love my boys. ♥ — Becky
This is Freya our Norwegian Elkhound. She is quiet, polite, and is a great sister to her feline siblings (Toki and Y eti). In the winter she can often be found tunneling and rolling in the snow, which she loves. We could not ask for a better dog to be part of our little family. — Chelsey
Hank will melt your heart. He’s the best shadow a girl could have. — Terri
This is Hitch, I love him because he loves me for me.
It doesnt matter what I weigh, what I wear or if I put
make-up on, as long as I love him back thats all he
needs to know. :) — Samantha

my friends for life. — Charlene
This is MaMa MewMew and her new babies one born Christmas Eve and one born Christmas. Their names are
Nickeve and Jebus. I love all of them because no matter what they are always there for me. When having a bad day just
relaxing in bed with all three of them puts me at ease. I don’t have children but the three of them are like my kids I spoil
them and even bought christmas gifts for all of them. Without them I am nothing, with them I am whole! ♥♥ — SteeveThis is Mr. Bojangles! When my husband had cancer Mr. Bojangles stayed right by his side, only getting up when my husband did. He was there physically and emotionally for both my husband and I, at that very diffcult time in his life. And he is always good for a snuggle or a chat:) — Melissa
There is never a dull moment when you have dogs — Kayla
This is our dog, Ozzy, with my 3 youngest children - Miller, Bridget & Stella. We love Ozzy because he is such a fantastic member of our family. He is awesome and loving with the kids and has the best personality! — Christy
This is my little furbaby, (Peter) Parker. He’s one crazy, silly, wild ball of fur,
but he also has his moments where he’ll cuddle right on top of you and give you
kisses. Parker has a severe overbite and will need surgery to remove his bottom
teeth, but I think his “flaws” make him unique and even more special to me.
My vet originally told me to “take him back” when I first adopted him because
his bottom jaw is so small & his teeth don’t align like normal kitties, but there
was no way I could. It was love at first sight! ♥ — Jennie
My chihuahua Ren and my cat who we call Pretty Boy, I love my pets because they’re just too adorable! They
make my day every day. — Kaitlyn This is Ripley, at fourteen months old I can say without a doubt that adopting her last February (2012) was one of the best things I have ever done! Having a bad day is impossible when you come home to this goofy girl. She’s my therapist, my personal trainer, my comic relief, and my best friend. — Emily
Roscoe was my ROCK, an Airedale Terrier who lived to 12.5 years. This pic was taken on April 5, 4 days before he passed over to the Rainbow
Bridge with the help of our Vet. Roscoe was diagnosed with Glaucoma and Osteosarcoma on April 2/12,our Vet came to the house on Monday
April 9, Easter Monday. My Beautiful Boy went downhill very quickly. I know his spirit is still around me, but my heart aches for my Boy,
the LOVE of my LIFE... LuvURoscoe. — Janice
This is me and my old gal Roxy! She just celebrated her 16th Christmas with our family. As a rescue dog she has been my constant companion and best friend in good times and bad. True unconditional love!! — Kim
This is Ruger, a 2 ½ year old Mini-Rex Rabbit. I love my pet because he has such a big personality that everyone who meets him, says, “Wow, I didn’t know Rabbits are like that” He shakes his head NO if he doesn’t like something, he always up to giving you kisses not matter who you are. He loves to show off with all his toys or by running around and doing happy high kicks. There is no other Rabbit out there like my Ruger Bunny.— Robin

This is my Newfie puppy Storm. She gives me unconditional love, even when I dress her funny! — Amanda
This is Theo, I love him because he is my best
friend. Not only my best friend he is also my
Medical Alert Service Dog able to tell me up to
15 minutes before a seizure, allowing me to live
a normal life. But even if he wasn’t a service dog
he’s love of life and adventures and his spirit is
contagious, he makes you want to me a better
person, he is just one great lovable little guy!
— Stephanie
