Experience from the CDM in LAC region

Key sectors under the CDM in LAC region- Renewables (70.5%); Waste (≈ 20%)

CDM has worked well in LAC region due to clear incentives and limited government interference

Building on the governance structure of the CDM, NAMAs should go further in standardising baseline and MRV methodologies

Moreover, possibility to integrate CDM activities as instruments under a supported / credited NAMA
