PONY BREEDERS SOCIETY OF NEW ZEALAND (INC) NATIONAL PERFORMANCE COMPETITION 2014/2015 The competition is open to all ponies 148 and under and fully registered with the Society. Awards presented at the Society’s AGM in May, 2015. Winners will be notified. Overall winner to receive the PBSNZ Trophy and a monogrammed dress rug. Glen Cree Trophy to the Rider of the Overall winning pony. Murfre Hosanna Trophy to the Most Versatile Pony. Brookfields Up Tempo Trophy to the winner of the Rising Stars. Early Risers Trophy to the Lead Rein discipline winner. Greenlee Maloney Trophy to the 1 st Ridden discipline winner. Monogrammed ¼ rug to either Senior or Junior winner(whichever doesn’t win the Overall) Monogrammed ¼ rug to the winner of Rising Stars. Rosettes to the top 6 place getters in Senior, Junior and Rising Stars. Special rosettes to winners of each discipline. Rosettes to the Breeders of the Sire and Dam of the winning pony, providing they are fully registered with the Society. Rosette to the Breeder of the Overall winning pony. 1) Events eligible for inclusion in the competition are conformation classes on the flat, paced and mannered on the flat, Show Jumping, Show Hunter, RTR/WPH, Games and Barrel Racing, Eventing, Dressage, Lead Rein, 1 st Ridden and Side Saddle. 2) No Turnout, Best Presented classes, unity classes, teams events, rider classes, pairs classes, walking or trotting classes, district/local or led classes are accepted. These include dry mare, handler and gelding classes. 3) Breed shows i.e. Welsh, Arab, Warmblood etc. and A&P’s with these classes Pure and Part Bred do NOT count for points. These are restricted classes. All Pony Breeders registered ponies must be eligible to compete in all/any classes that count for points. 4) The competition will run from the 1 st April to 31 st March the following year. ENTRIES CLOSE ON THE 1 ST MAY, 2015. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. 5) To enter send a completed 2014/2015 result sheet recording the event and placings (down to 4 th where applicable) for the nominated pony. Please use a different result sheet for each pony. Entry fee of $10.00 per section to accompany each entry. Incorrect completion of entry forms could result in entry not being accepted. Age of pony Rising Stars only.7) Rising Stars is for ponies 3 5years. Best 6 shows only to count for points.8) The performance competition is on the pony results and can accumulate with more than one rider.
