To be a Licensed Peace Officer in the State of Minnesota you need to maintain and have continuing education every 3 years. The CBI program allows us to send Officers at a very reasonable rate. ThisprogramfollowstheMinnesotaBoardofPeaceOfficerStandardsandTrainingoutlinetopreparestudentsforthepart-timePeaceOfficerexam.Goalsofthisprogramaretoenablepart-timePeaceOfficercandidatestomeetPOSTrequirementsforlicensingandtodevelopskillsneededbyPeaceOfficersintheperformanceoftheirduties.CoursesasnotedwithinthePart-TimePeaceOfficerProgramarealsoappropriate for continuing education for reserve officers.
