Marcus Coleman BEng (Mechatronics), BCS, MBAManaging Director Tiger Spider

Marcus is the founder and Managing Director of Tiger Spider - a transport engineering consultancy that specializes in heavy commercial and high productivity freight vehicles. Marcus is an accredited PBS Assessor and has an Honours degree in Mechatronics Engineering, a Bachelor of Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration. He is a member of the US Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Intermodal Freight Transport, A member of the SAE Truck and Bus Tire Committee and an Senior Executive of ARTSA. He has recently completed Austroads Freight Task Force review into the PBS Standards for Level 3 and 4 vehicles and the use of Auxiliary Brakes in Heavy Vehicles.

Before starting Tiger Spider, Marcus was Manager of Freight Policy at the Australian National Transport Commission and Technical Advisor to the National PBS Review Panel. Prior to that, he worked as a product engineer for Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific and a transport engineering consultant for Roaduser Systems.
