NEW PILGRIM PATH (www.newpilgrimpath.ie) is inspired by Pope Francis’s enthusiasm for the internet. He urges Christian to “walk the streets of the digital highways in order to dialogue with people today and to help them encounter Christ”. Each week they feature a website which may be of interest to fellow Christians. The ability to laugh stands as a vital protection of sanity and a mighty form of resistance to inhu-manity. That is what the great Austrian psychiatrist and Holocaust survi-vor, Viktor Frankl. attests to in his extraordinary 1946 psychological memoir, Man’s Search for Meaning. Frankl’s thinking is vividly presented in the ‘BrainPickings’ website.
