MARSHALLS ARE NEEDED TO HELP
AT THE FIRST HOLY COMMUNION MASS
SATURDAY 5TH MAY 12 NOON AT THE CATHEDRAL
Marshalls are needed for the First Holy Communion Mass on Saturday 5th May, which is being held at St Barnabas Cathedral at 12 Noon. People are needed to help give out orders of service and guide people to their seats, as well as other duties.

SUPPORTING THE HOMELESS AND HUNGRY
The Parish has recently made deliveries of food & toiletries to St Ann's Foodbank & Emmanuel House.
During this colder weather , your donations are even more important. Please add one or two items to your weekly shop and leave them at the back of Church.
It makes a real difference to those in need. Thank you.
Our Lady of Grace-Cotgrave Open Gardens
A small group of people in Cotgrave are organising an Open Gardens event in Cotgrave, over the weekend of June 23rd-24th. We still need more gardens! Please volunteer yours, and encourage your friends to show theirs. We want to make the event as good as possible. If you know of a garden to offer, email [email protected] .
Our PCC has agreed that Our Lady's might provide tea and cakes on one of the afternoons, so nearer the time we shall be asking for volunteers for that too.
Blessed Sacrament Procession- 29th April 2018 On Saturday 28th April at 2pm Bishop Patrick will lead the annual Blessed Sacrament Procession, as we witness to our faith through the streets of central Nottingham. Starting at St Mary’s, Hyson Green, and proceeding to the Cathedral, for Benediction at around 4 p.m. After Benediction we will pause to pray before the tomb of the Venerable Mary Potter to pray for her Beatification.

Please do come to join us, before the Blessed Sacrament Pro-cession, for the study morning at St. Mary’s, Hyson Green. Bishop Patrick will open the morning in pray-er at 10a.m. and we will finish just before the start of the procession. The study morning will be looking at the Eucharist. Our next Friary Fundraising Sale will take place Saturday 12th May 2018, 11am – 1pm at Sir Julien Cahn Pavilion, West Park, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford NG2 7JE. Car parking available. Stalls will include: Adult/Children’s clothes, household & electrical items, toys, bric-a-brac, jewellery, and handmade cards. Refreshments available. Entrance 50p. All proceeds to the Friary.
Holy Spirit Golf Society Competition

We are pleased to confirm our Holy Spirit Golf Society 2018 Open Competition as Sunday 15th April at Ruddington Grange Golf Club , with tee off times from 11:00am to 12:00
Format as usual: Stableford competition @ 3/4’s handicap.
Famous Ruddington carvery meal. Full prize table with £100's of pro shop vouchers and golf attire to be won for 1st / 2nd / 3rd , NTP LD and NTP2. And of course the coveted & prestigious HSGS Claret Jug to the winner !
