WITH 1,311 PREMIUM TARGETED VISITORSAND A GROWING, SELECTIVE OFFER,

BLOSSOM PREMIÈRE VISION STANDS OUTAS THE SHOW OF REFERENCE

FOR LUXURY AND CREATIVE FASHION PRE-COLLECTIONS

Last 3 and 4 July at the Carreau du Temple in Paris, Blossom Première Vision amply fulfilled its role as the reference event for the design of pre-collections, with a 7th edition universally applauded by luxury and creative fashion professionals.

Launched three years ago by the Première Vision group, the show dedicated to materials for pre-collections has solidly emerged as the sector’s key event. This season it welcomed 1,311 visitors come to discover new materials for autumn winter 2020-21, proposed by 119 selected exhibitors - weavers, tanners and accessory makers.

* PREMIÈRE VISION PARIS: 17, 18 & 19 September 2019 at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte

Blossom Première Vision thus confirmed the coherence of its strategic positioning, in terms of its offer and calendar:

• An ultra-selective and strengthened international offer from 119 exhibitors (+6% vs. July 2018) - 77 weavers, 33 tanners and 9 manufacturers of accessories and components - adapted to the exclusive needs of the major fashion houses.

• A targeted and high quality visitorship up +3.5% - 1,311 visitors vs. 1,266 in July 2018, from 30 countries.

• A show timed to align with the calendar of pre-collections, and complementary to the Première Vision Paris* calendar, which targets main collections.

• An effective event, designed with an eye to creative interaction and discussion, to allow buyers to work with their usual suppliers while taking the time to discover new ones.

• A unique location in the heart of Paris, the Carreau du Temple, ideal for the often-Parisian luxury houses, but also central and inspiring for high-end international brands.

• An experiential event: The show invited exhibitors and visitors to share a culturally inspiring moment, by organizing a private visit to two outstanding photography exhibits: Henri Cartier-Bresson, Pérégrination, Europe (1930-1933) and Wright Morris, L’Essence du visible, at the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson.

Pascal Morand, Executive President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode :«Fashion has to comply with the laws of the supply chain, which, like those of physics, cannot be circumvented. To be in the market, you must deliver early enough and be well organized in advance. It’s a question of buying the fabrics in time for pre-collections, as well as for advance collections where the main and pre-collections are combined, and deliveries are made in successive stages. Blossom corresponds perfectly to the dates required to do this, and is therefore perfectly aligned with brands’ creative process.»

«I’m here because of the presence and concentration of so many leather suppliers. Everything is centralised, it’s very practical [...] The offer corresponds well to our expectations. The timing is right, because we have begun Winter 20. I like the show’s central location and the very wide range of products on offer. There’ s a nice, enjoyable atmosphere. It’s a beautiful place!»Hat and Glove Development Manager at HERMÈS

«Blossom PV and Première Vision Paris are important shows that you really can’t miss. I came to Blossom PV to source materials and accessories for the Winter 20 pre-collection. Everything here is interesting to us. The offer corresponds to our expectations and the timing of the show is also right. We are increasingly looking for eco-responsible products. This is a real problem today. The show is enjoyable and convenient to get to. It’s easy to discuss and exchange ideas here.»Collection Head at KOCHÉ

«I’m here researching leather supplies and accessories for shoes and bags. I’m delighted to have made some very interesting discoveries. The offer of the show is beyond my expectations. Currently, we are starting work on Fall Winter 20, so this show has the right timing for us. It’s a very nice professional moment in a beautiful place.»Leather Researcher from BALMAIN ITALIA
