• School provides services to whole families as well as activities that encourage and inspire participation.

Supportive Policy

• Written school policy must be translated in the home language of parents so they understand.

• Policies must be jointly created with parents as equal partners and must be approved by parents per NCLB section 1118.

Professional Development

• Leadership Training for parents that enhance skills needed to participate as equal partners in decision-making impacting students achievement must be provided. The source of funding is available from Title 1, Title 111 , Title 11,that have parent involvement components with minimum funding of 1%.

• Resources are available for child care, transportation, refreshments, material for activities and supplies. What resources? “Childcare, transportation, materials for and activities, supplies, and refreshments are provided.”
