Born in Chillicothe, Ohio, USA, October 25, 1950, daughter of Paul E. and Nettie K. (Steed) Shoemaker. Husband is John Hancher Parrish. Our son is John (Jack) Shoemaker Parrish.

Courses include Introduction to Social Science Research Methods & Data Analysis, Advanced Seminar in Survey Research, Advanced Seminar in Content Analysis, Advanced Media Sociology Seminar, Applied Media Research Methods, and Commu-nication Theory. Also taught an informal “stats camp” for doctoral students interested in multi-variate data analysis.
