Obituary DeErick DeShaun Williams affectionately known as “Dee” was born June 26, 1996 to Derrick Williams Sr. and Samantha Whoie in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He transitioned and took his wings on Sunday, May 31, 2020.

DeErick attended Lee and Wake County Schools where he played basketball. He was a graduate of Lee County Senior High School. He was a jokester who loved to play cards and keep you laughing. Dee had a great love for his family and friends, especially his children. His children were the love of

his life, as he was a proud father. In his earlier years, DeErick was a member of Mt. Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church under the leadership of Bishop Julia Harris - where he participated in the youth department. Later, he moved his membership to Touch of the Master Hand Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Juliet Everette.

DeErick was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Derrick Williams Jr.; sister, Precious Angel Williams and grandfather, Anthony Whoie.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: two children, Aiden Isaiah Williams and Ivy Dior Williams (mother, Quotisha Womack) of Sanford, NC; parents, Samantha Whoie of Raleigh, NC and Derrick Williams Sr. (Cheriss) of Sanford, NC; godparents, David and Robin McClurkin of Broadway, NC; grandparents, Vincent McLeod of Sanford, NC, Myra Brown of Raleigh, NC, William Everette of Sanford, NC, Apostle Juliet Everette of Apex, NC, Patricia DeFerrari (Marcellus) of Washington, DC; great-grand father, Rev.
