Meeting of theCommittee for LegalMatters

The President said this while chairing a presentation by ChiefCommissioner Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani here at theAiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.President / Chief Scout of Pakistan Mamnoon said that the Association needs to beappropriately reoriented to meet its financial needs and for effective functioning.The President assured of his personal interest in the affairs of PBSA to enable theAssociation to pursue its humanitarian mission and achieve objectives.The Chief Commissioner briefed the President about the mission and activities of theAssociation. The President was also apprised about the administrative, financial,logistical matters and future plans of PBSA to make it vibrant and useful.Earlier, Chief Commissioner, PBSA presented Report of the last six months and ScoutLeaders Hand Book - 2016 to H.E. the President. The President / Chief Scout of Pakistanappreciated her performance.

Gali Murree Hills and other campsites forprayer. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa BSA througha circular forwarded request to all districtBoy Scouts in this regard.

Mr. Sarfraz Khan was accompanying hisson Mr. Fazal Qadir Khan who is consultantfor Educational Technology.He also desired to contribute to Scouting,following the foot steps of his grand father.Scout Leader Hand Book was alsopresented to Mr. Sarfraz Khan.

As the name suggests Model UN is asimulation of the proceedings of theUnited Nations and other internationalorganizations. Delegates are assigned to aspecific United Nations committee or crisissimulation in which they take on the role ofa government diplomat representing astate, an international organization, or aspecific political or historical character.Through active research, debate, andother cooperation, delegates work closelyto help in solving some of the world's mostdire problems over the course of this three

day conference.

2ND MODEL UNITED NATIONSQUETTA 2016 ORGANIZED BYBALOCHISTAN BSA

continuation of the last Model UnitedNations 2015 Balochistan Boy Scouts took

another great initiative to organize ModelUnited Nations 2016 having separatetraining session for the participants whichhelped them to have more idea regardingthe conference.

Five different committees were formedwith the participation 305 delegates who

were assigned with 59 different countriesand further prepared themselves inrelation to the country assigned and tookan active part in the conference bydefending themselves through dialogueand debate.

First ever Female Speaker BalochistanAssembly and Chief Commissioner,Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, Ms.R a h e e l a H a m e e d K h a n D u r r a n iinaugurated the MUN-QTA'16 by sharingher valuable experiences and highlightedimportance of scouting and education inthe province. She also appreciated theinitiatives exerted by the BBSA during thepast years, likewise this particular eventsurely help the individuals in increasing

their personal capacities regardingeducation. She also affirmed her continuessupport for the BBSA for the future. AlsoUNDP Chief of Quetta (Balochistan) officeMs. Ilaria Carpen appreciated the efforts ofBalochistan Boy Scouts and also gave a

detailed presentation on the operationsand functionalities of United NationDevelopment Program, and mostimportantly youth led programs that willallow youth of the province to engage in

different development related programs,interventions and projects.
