Login to Page Editor Click on your company name at the bottom left footer.

Enter your access code. You must click on the Submit button.

Once you are successfully logged in, go to the page that you wish to edit, and look for the Edit Icon; Click on the icon to edit the page.

When you are finished editing your site, click on Log out, or just exit the browser

Once you click on the Edit Icon, the content of the page will be displayed in the Page Editor

Update the content as you would using a word processor Mouse-over each icon to read a hint for what the function does Click Submit to apply your changes Click Cancel to cancel your changes Click “Back to Website” to go back to your site Click “Quick Guide” to display this Quick Guide document.

Tip: Click on the “Full Screen” icon to expand the page editor, this will give you more room to work. To save your changes, you will need to click on

the icon again to minimize the screen, and then click the Submit button.

How to insert a picture In the page editor, place your cursor at where you want to insert the picture. Click on the Picture icon, and the following dialog will appear.

Click on the Folder icon to display the files in your Myfolder If your file (photo) is already in Myfolder, then click on the file name and click OK

If your file is not in Myfolder, then you’ll need to upload it from your PC to the Website. Click Browse to browse your PC to find the file you wish to upload Then click Upload to upload the file

How to insert a picture (continue) Once you have selected the picture and clicked OK (from the previous page), then the following dialog will appear. Give the picture a Title (not required, but it will help in the search engine ranking if the title

supports your targeted key words)

Spacing: Enter spacing to specify

the margin between the picture and the surrounding text.

Alignment: Select “Left” if you want

the picture to left justify with text wrap around its right

Click Insert to insert the picture

How to add a hyper link to display a document from Myfolder Highlight the text (or the picture) that you want to create a hyperlink.

Then click on the link icon and the following dialog will appear

Click on the Folder icon to display the files in

Myfolder

If the file is already in Myfolder, then click on the file name and click OK

If the file is not in Myfolder, then you’ll need to upload it from your PC to the Website. Click Browse to browse your PC to find

the file you wish to upload Then click Upload to upload the file

Once you’ve selected the file and click OK then the following dialog will be displayed.

Click on Source and select the option “HTTP” Click on Target and select the option, “Blank”

to popup the document in a separate browser Give the file a Title (not required, but it will

help in the search engine ranking if title supports your targeted key words)

Click Insert to insert the document

HELPFUL TIPS

1. You can use Microsoft Excel to create a table To create a table (like the one shown below), you can create the table in Microsoft Excel (add the borders, color, and styles) and then copy and paste it to your website page editor. You may have to do this several times to adjust the dimensions of the table.

2. Your can use Microsoft Word You can use Microsoft Word to compose your page; and then copy and paste it to your website page editor. You may need to remove some control characters that Word imbeds into the document.

3. Optimize your photos A typical photo (taken with a digital camera) is about 3-5 megabytes (MB) in file size (or resolution). A web page does not need all that resolution - it will slow down the display of the web page. Reduce your photo resolution to less than 250k (or 0.25 MB). To update your Catalog, click on the “Edit Catalog” icon displayed above the catalog directory (you must be logged into the editor, see page 2)

Click on the “Edit Catalog” icon (see above) and the following panel will be displayed: Click on Product, Category, or Sub Category to display the respective list:

Click on the hyperlink to edit the item Click on the Add button to Add an item To delete 1 or more items, check the items and click on the Delete button.

Add or Edit a Product:

Most of the functions on this screen are self explanatory, but the ones listed below may not be so obvious: Option Labels 1 and 2 are used for displaying product options, such as “Color” or “Size”. If you leave the Option Label blank, then the product will not have an option selection. Option Values are the option values such as, “ RED|GREEN|BLUE| ” each value is delineated with a vertical bar, “ | “. Featured Item – if you check this box, then the product will appear on the featured section of the site (usually on the home page, or the default list of products when you click on “Shop Now” or “Products Catalog”) Sequence is the order in which the product will be displayed (1 is the highest) Thumbnail Pic is a small picture of the product Large Pic is the image that pops up when you click on the thumbnail pic See Image Folder – click here to select the product image from “Myfolder” (see next page for details)

When you click on the “See Image Folder” the following panel will be displayed listing the files in “Myfolder”

To select an image for the product: Click on the image Copy the entire file name (right mouse click, select copy) Close this panel Paste (right mouse click, select paste) the file name to the “Thumbnail Pic” or “Large Pic”
