What are you going to design?

• The graphic product that I’m going to design a smart-phone.

• A smart phone is a phone that normally has a good quality camera, millions of games and apps to choose from.

Purpose

What is the purpose of the smart phone?

The purpose of the smart phone is to text an phone people, play games and apps, stream movies of the internet, surf the web and take good clear pictures.

Why is this the purpose ? You have to follow design documents, and make design documents so we can follow the steps and how its made.

How will you make the graphic product fit for purpose?

Make sure the screen is good quality, good sound speakers and a headphone slot, a camera, be able to access the internet and download stuff like music and games etc.

How is the smart phone designs a graphic product?

We drew it our self on fireworks, fireworks is a graphical product,

Target Audience

Who is your target audience? People looking to buy a phone, aged 10+

Why are they your target audience? I’ve chosen this age because I think they are most suitable to use a smart phone.

What are you going to do to meet your target audience?

Have a good quality screen and good camera, not so sensitive to touch but enough that it picks up your finger.

How you now you have met your target audience?

I know it has met the target audience because it is easy to see and easy to use.

Requirements

What should the smart phone designs look like?

Have a image of the front, back and side.

What must you use to create your designs?

Make it on paper, then do it on fireworks.

What does vector mean? You can make a image or text any size and it wont go blurry.

Any other requirements Have a headphone slot, good quality camera and speakers.

Why do you need to use these things? To make my smartphone it better and more suitable for the audience.

What skills will you need? I will need firework skills.

• I am going to design a advert for my smart phone. The smart phone advert can be used in magazines, news papers, online and game posters.

What is the purpose of the advert? The purpose of the advert is to promote the smart phone to the target audience.

Why is this the purpose ? This is the purpose because it promotes my smartphone.

How will you make the advert fit for purpose?

I'm going to make my advert fit for the purpose because it will be readable, clear, eye catching and will have terms and conditions.

How is the advert designs a graphic product?

The advert design will be a graphic product because I will use graphical software on the computer such as fireworks and photoshop.

Target Audience

Who is your target audience? People who want to buy the phone, boys and girls and ages 10+ because it will be easy to see and use.

Why are they your target audience? This is my target audience because the advert is going to be nice and clear.

I’m going to meet my target audience because I'm going to make it and present it well.

I will know I have met my audience because more people will buy it.

Requirements

What should the advert designs look like? The advert design needs to be eye catching so it will attract peoples attention and makes the audience want to buy our phone.

What must you use to create your designs?

I will need information of the phone; Title; 2 photos; Terms and conditions; Copyright.

What does bitmap mean? Bitmap means a picture made out of pixels, pixels are tiny square with colour in them which makes a image.

Any other requirements We need to make sure that our avert has no bad language, it has to be clear to see and easy to understand.

Why do you need to use these things? We will need these things in my advert because it will make people want to buy our phone.

What skills will you need? Digital camera skills, skills in fireworks, creativity. I need all these skills to make our advert successful.
