He is a graduate of Northwestern University residency, and Washington University Spine Fellowship. He started his career as an Assistant Professor at Loyola University for seven years before founding ISSC. He is board-certified, and received multiple local and international humanitarian awards. With this approach, I treat each patient with compassion and individualize his or her care.” Dr. Baluch obtained both his medical degree and training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He then completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina. A Chicago native, Dr. Baluch returned to practice at the Illinois Spine & Scoliosis Center. “My practice philosophy is to utilize all available non-operative techniques to help the human body heal and recover.
