Life Saving Rules FIT FOR WORK: We will report and remain fit for work and while on-call, free from the effects of alcohol and/or drugs, and adequately rested. HAZARD ASSESSMENT: We will identify and control potential hazards prior to commencing work. DRIVING: We will observe the law, minimize distractions, and drive according to road conditions. ENERGY ISOLATION: We will control all hazardous energy sources prior to performing work, following Alliance’s Lockout/Tag Out Practice, and verify, by test, that the equipment cannot start, move, or become energized. LIFTING ACTIVITIES: We will use a properly rated crane or device for every lift, never stand beneath a suspended load, and use a lift plan for critical lifts. WORKING AT HEIGHTS: We will use inspected, approved fall protection when working at heights. GROUND DISTURBANCE: We will locate underground facilities and contact One Call before digging, inspect excavations prior to entry and conduct work in accordance with our Excavation Practice. As an Alliance Pipeline employee or contractor doing work for Alliance, I will adhere to the Life Saving Rules, in keeping with AIMS and our Zero Incidents goal. We share an obligation to ensure our Life Saving Rules are strictly enforced. Life Saving Rules

FIT FOR WORK: We will report and remain fit for work and while on-call, free from the effects of alcohol and/or drugs, and adequately rested.
