Outside this morning we enjoyed

playing with the parachute. We

lifted it up and ran underneath it

and then it came down over us. We

also enjoyed putting a ball on it and

trying to keep it on the parachute

while we moved it around.

While at Roscoe Avenue, children are

provided with experiences that allow

the them to experiment with spatial

awareness and different ways of mov-

ing their body within the environ-

ment.

SCALES

&

WEIGHINGToday we experimented

with the scales, we slowly

put different pieces of

wood and little pine cones

into the baskets to try and

get them to balance. We

all had a turn at trying to

get the scales to balance

and we found that it was

very tricky.

Tash and Alkira enjoyed

dancing to a variety of mu-

sic, showing us how to

dance fast and slow, up high

and down low.

Today Tash, Sarah and Nevaeh came to

the kindergarten for a visit. They partici-

pated in all apects of the day including

group times, serving their own lunch and

helping wash their own dishes after lunch.

They particularly appeared to enjoy music

and movement and looking at some of

Cindy's special books.

What a busy day we have had today. We

have been busy doing puzzles, playing

with playdough, working on our Father's

Day presents and creating some great

consuctions in the block corner, but we

knocked them over before Cindy could

take some photos :-(
