    Intendedoncollectinggoodstothevalueofthereparations, Germanywasoutraged;workersintheRuhrwentonstrike(passiveresistance).FrenchsentinFrenchworkers.

    Bitternessincreasedandviolencebrokeout.SomeGermanswereshotforrefusingtowork.

    Over150,000GermanswereremovedfromtheRuhr.o StrikesintheRuhrmadematerialshortagesworse,priceswereup.

    Governmenthadtoprintmorenotestokeepup(triedtocutdownthenumberofnotesbeingprintedbyprintinglargernumbersonthem).
