Organization Culture is the shared values, beliefs, principles, and behaviors of how employees do things in an organization.
“An organizational culture, especially a strong one, influences and constrains the way manager’s plan, organize, lead, and control.” (Pearson Learning Solutions, 2013)
ORGANIZATIONAL CULTUREOrganizational culture is a vital component to an
organization’s success.
• These values, principles, beliefs, and behaviors reflect how your organization is perceived.
• Ensuring the organization has the most talented staff is essential in order to be successful
• Team orientation that allows for creativity and to work well with each other for completing tasks and achieving goals.
• Rewarding and recognizing employee behavior
“We look for people who are great at a lot of things, love big challenges and welcome big changes. We can’t have too many specialists in just one particular area. We’re looking for people who are good for Google and not just for right now, but for the long term. ”

Planning is tactical and strategic, setting goals for success by accepting multiple work member input and brainstorming innovative ideas.

Developing long run and short run goals, allow organizations to develop a culture
of cause related and committed employees.
A SWOT analysis allows managers and employees to see where they stand within and outside of their
organization, and how this effects the work environment

Planning is a constant within the work environment and used for the future outlook of an organization.
Google’s organizational culture has allowed their company to grow and expand into many fields of
research and technological improvements.

company has to be engineered and organized in a way that creates success
• Organizing is a key component in ensuring that a company has a productive organizational culture
• Google’s managers have organized their employees in such a way that they have freedom for a part of each day to work on their own tasks and be creative.

In order for an organization to have a successful culture, where every employee feels as if their values, beliefs, and principles are respected, the organization needs a strong leader.
Google is an example of an organization with a unique culture, where their managers are also leaders and at Google their managers go above and beyond when it comes to inspiring their employees by using motivation.
Managers who are detail and outcome oriented tend to accomplish goals efficiently and effectively and managers who are innovative not only help create new products, they also help build the organizations culture.
