The Versant English-Level Test and Versant
French-Level Test are spoken language tests which
can be used in recruiting and training programs, as
well as school admission and teacher credential
programs, to evaluate how well employees, teachers,
and students can understand and communicate
clearly in English or French. Versant tests have
helped corporations, government agencies,
universities, and schools to accurately and quickly
measure spoken English or French skills for screening
and training purposes in over 100 countries around
the world.
The French version of the assessment was
specifically adapted for the Canadian market. It was
field tested with 800 native and non-native French
speakers in Canada to ensure accuracy for the
Canadian market.

a large group of candidates, by computer. A
