WHY?Following a change in business strategy, Oracle’s industry
marketing teams were focused on generating more lucrative
relationships with their top 500 global accounts. This required
supporting one-to-one marketing campaigns focused on
individual corporate accounts – the first being BP.
What?Gilroy decided that BP needed to understand what success
looked like in each of its divisions. To do this a spoof business
news programme was designed. It discussed the reasons
behind the successful transformation of BP set three years in
the future.
Gilroy developed six scripts based on a business news
programme set in the future. Six video interviews were
recorded focusing on the future success of BP and how each
division had transformed its operation by deploying Oracle.
How?Gilroy began by establishing key information about the target
companies, including their: challenges, personnel and offerings.
Gilroy then developed appropriate, personalised propositions
to convey the benefits and opportunities they would gain by
extending the relationship with Oracle.
