What is Irekia?
Open Government is a political philosophy that holds that government and public administration activities must be open in terms of transparency at all possible levels in order to achieve greater citizen participation and improved regulation.
Irekia is a global project developed by the Government of the Basque Country and promoted by the Lehendakari that aims to improve transparency within the administration and ensure that public opinion makes a difference.
