WHO WE AREOooh Berlin is us, Anika & Chris. We are only interested in putting our most favourite places in our guides... and that’swhat makes them so trusted by locals & different to mostother free maps you might see - this one is actually curated !
To create our guides, we start off with 200 + places we haveresearched in each area, before walking every single street tocheck them out & finding other cool new places to try on theway. We’re always searching for places that excite us !
We come from gastronomy & marketing backgrounds, so we really look at the small details in each place, as well as the passionate people behind them - rather than just what lookspretty on Instagram. We’re extremely picky, to ensure that youenjoy every single place we recommend. Thats important to us!
Whilst we can’t try every single restaurant in town, it’s notuncommon for us to share 3 lunches & test lots of coffeesin the afternoon before trying out dinner spots! This takesmonths, but we’re very particular about who we feature onour guides - so, do trust us, these places are really great !

Certainly one of the most unique bars in the city, Sardinen Bar’s fame comes from serving high- quality tinned seafood paired with lovely wine and breads!
