CONTEMPORARY ARTIST
I want to create magic, romance and celebration of life!
New Orleans based contemporary painter from a Russian descent.
My life journey is long and filled with colorful memories, which I
paint to this day. When I moved to New Orleans, I immediately got
inspired to create, endlessly. I left the corporate world of being a
successful Graphic Designer, Stylist and Art Director. I created
advertising campaigns for companies like Under Armour, fashion
houses in New York, Hearst Magazines, & retouched glossy maga-
zine covers. Since, I got myself a painting studio in New Orleans,
Louisiana. Now Celebrating life every day, and creating my visions
on canvases. I am known for my kiss paintings and whimsical
personal style.
I travel often, frequently returning to Russia and Europe for new
inspiration. Recent 2014 works were displayed At
the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, “LA Contemporary”.

candy-like kiss look.

celebration of life, love and joy.

THE “KISS COLLECTION” TELLS A STORY OF LOVE AND
PASSION. THE VISUAL JOURNEY BREAKS THE EXPECTATION IN
TRADITIONAL USE OF OIL ON CANVAS,
ESCAPING THE ORDINARY. REMIXING ELEMENTS FROM
ART HISTORY AND MODERN DAY TRENDS
It speaks romance language, exudes divine feelings, as the kisses shine with gloss. The juicy, luscious kisses drown in champagne
bubbles, sweet candy and romantic flowers. All elements of modern day romance and magic that define love.
The city and jet-setter series take on a “destination love” and “consumerism love” approach. Exploring subjective love,
in unconventional way.
All canvases are meant to provide visual indulgence through adventurous color composition. It is a personal attempt to showcase a heavenly romance,
an opinionated beauty, through vibrant, decorative visions on canvas.

INSPIRED BY ART HISTORY &MODERN DAY TRENDS.
My worldwide travels inspire a lot of the painting subject
matter. From Faberge eggs of Imperial Russia, opulent
landscapes in South of France, Gaudi of Barcelona,
Moroccan Riads, to Alys Beach in the Gulf of Florida.
The architectural and landscape elements come to life on
my canvases. I am driven by vibrant colors, all these
sources produce ornate and opulent
visions, they mix with images of trend forward elements of
modern day. Even if see an amazing print on the
runway, it unconsciously reproduces itself onto a canvas
at an intuitive moment. I sort of become a visual DJ of all
things vibrate, sparkly and opulent!.
