• Strategic Objective: • To empower VS to take actions on Animal Welfare, in compliance with the OIE Standards

• Specific Objectives: • To raise awareness and achieve high level of understanding;

• To progressively advance with the implementation of the OIE Standards on AW

• To encourage the participation in the OIE standard setting process

• Scope: • Transport of animals by land (OIE TAHC Chapter 7.3)

• Slaughter of animals for human consuption ( OIE TAHC Chapter 7.5)
