Created in November of 2012, the Office of Career Management at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine is the first veterinary school to have dedicated career assistance for students and employers.
Our students have unique opportunities throughout their veterinary medicine education that prepares them to be leaders in the field of veterinary medicine and assets to your practice and business.

• Robust pre-clinical curriculum
• Clinical training at one of the largest veterinary medical centers in the country, provides exposure to more than 35,000 patient visits a year
• Unique rotations including practical experience with equine, farm animals, and shelter medicine; students perform up to 20 spay and neuter surgeries
• Career Area of Emphasis that combines a well-balanced education with extended, specific training
• Emphasis on professional development curriculum and communication training
• Optional Graduate Business Minor in Health Sciences
