SEPTEMBER BOARD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS • Youth
• 35 Students at first meeting • Electing officers on Oct 6, 2015 • Want to purchase shirts so they “look uniform”
when they go into the community • Talbot Tailgate- we are collecting jeans and
donations for the food bank in exchange for raffle tickets for two baskets. Spread the word and sign up to work at our booth!!!
• Wounded Warrior Project • Food bank (food drives in several formats were
discussed)- will work with Lend our Hands on this one!!
• Pittsburgh Project-Habitat for Humanity • Operation Christmas Child • Toys for Tots • Mario Lemieux Foundation/Alex's Lemonade Stand • Soup kitchen • Kane Nursing home (plan an event with residents) • Run/walk a 5k as a group to show our support for a
cause (any thoughts about ones in October or November?)

club • 2014-2015 - net gain of 30 members
Rotary Foundation - drives Rotary International • Irradication of Polio celebration in 2016 • Average $100 per capita
Increase attendance at District Events • 8% attendance at District Events - WHY? • GOAL - Increase 4 FOLD (30% attendance) • Mid-Year Review
